What you can ask
- “Let's play Hushword with 5 friends”
- “Start a Hushword room where ChatGPT is the imposter”
- “Open a Hushword room with 3 bots so I can try it”
How to use it
- Add Hushword to ChatGPT. In ChatGPT, open Plugins, search for Hushword Imposter and add it. Or mention Hushword in a chat and approve it when asked.
- Open a room. Say “Let's play Hushword”. ChatGPT gives the 4-letter code and the link; the card also shows a QR code.
- Join on your phones. Everyone opens hushword.ambientapp.ai, types the code and picks an animal. You can tap Play on this screen in the card.
- Start the round. Say “Start”. Every phone shows the word except the imposter's. ChatGPT calls the clue order.
- Vote and hear the result. Everyone votes on their phone. Ask “Who was the imposter?” and ChatGPT reads the result.
What Hushword does and doesn't do
- It sends the secret word only to the phones; ChatGPT doesn't see it until the round is over.
- Players don't type names or sign up: they pick an animal.
- Clues are spoken out loud in the room; Hushword doesn't record them.
- There are no ads, purchases or subscriptions.
Questions
Does Hushword need a separate account?
No. Only the host uses ChatGPT. There is no Hushword account; other players open a web page on their phones.
Does it work with ChatGPT Voice?
Not reliably yet. Voice doesn't always call plugins, so type your request, or name the app when you speak: “Use the Hushword app to open a room.” The words appear only on the phones either way.
Does it cost anything?
No. There are no purchases, subscriptions or ads.
What do you collect?
Only the game: the animals people pick, votes, guesses and scores. Rooms are deleted after 6 hours. Details are in the privacy policy.
