Common questions

How do my friends join? They open hushword.ambientapp.ai on their phone and type the 4-letter code ChatGPT says, or scan the QR code on the card in ChatGPT. No account or app is needed. Each person picks an animal.

Do I need a phone too? If you play from the card in ChatGPT, tap Play on this screen, then hold the card to see your word. Or join on your own phone like everyone else.

How many people can play? 3 to 8 players, bots included. ChatGPT can add up to 3 bot players, so even 1 person can try it.

What is "Beat the AI"? ChatGPT plays as the imposter. Every phone gets the word, ChatGPT doesn't, and it has two guesses to work it out from your clues.

Does ChatGPT see the secret word? No. The word goes from our server to the phones. ChatGPT only learns it when the round is over.

Someone joined who shouldn't be there. Ask ChatGPT to remove them by their animal, for example "remove the Tiger".

A phone lost its seat. Open the same link again on the same phone and browser. If you cleared the browser's data, pick a free animal again between rounds.

How do I delete a room? Say "close the room" to ChatGPT. Rooms are deleted by themselves 6 hours after the last activity.
