These terms are an agreement between you and The Open Apps, Inc. ("we", "us") for using Hushword: the plugin in ChatGPT and the website hushword.ambientapp.ai, including the game pages players open on their phones. By using Hushword you agree to them.
The service
Hushword is a party word game. A host starts a room from ChatGPT, players join on their phones with the room code, and everyone except the imposter sees a secret word. Hushword costs nothing: there are no purchases, subscriptions or ads.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use Hushword with a parent's or guardian's permission.
Playing fair
- Join only rooms you were invited to. Don't guess codes or join strangers' games.
- Don't try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or to see other players' words.
- The host can remove a player from a room at any time.
ChatGPT
Hushword runs inside ChatGPT, which OpenAI provides under its own terms. ChatGPT may make mistakes as a host or player. We are not responsible for what ChatGPT says.
Content
The word packs, the game and the website belong to us. You may play and share your games, including recording them for social media.
Availability
We may change, pause or stop Hushword, or any word pack, at any time. Rooms close by themselves 6 hours after the last activity.
Disclaimers
Hushword is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim about Hushword is limited to US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Changes
When we change these terms we update the date at the top. If you keep using Hushword after a change, the new terms apply.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where the law of your country of residence gives you rights that can't be waived.
